Location. The Club Hotel Bolero is located in the resort of Golden Sands, Bulgaria on the Black Sea, within 50 metres of the beach and 17 kilometres from Bulgaria's third largest city, Varna.
Hotel Features. Hotel Bolero is built in a terraced structure, rising from four to six storeys. The attractive, ochre coloured property is set off by a terracotta tiled roof and is placed within 13,000 square metres of garden and open space. The hotel has indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a children's pool, sun terraces and a spa tub.
The Hotel Bolero houses the Bolero restaurant offering buffet dining while � la carte options are available at the Asian Restaurant. Drinks are served at the poolside bar.
Conference rooms with audio visual equipment and Internet access (surcharge) are available.
The hotel's health club has a sauna, steam room and a range of fitness equipment. There are also floodlit tennis courts, with instructors, and areas for volleyball, basketball and football. Horse riding and numerous water sports, including water skiing, scuba diving and parasailing can be arranged nearby. At the hotel's wellness centre, guests can relax with a therapeutic spa treatment or massage. A kids' club provides supervised entertainment and activities for children.
Guestrooms. All 297 air conditioned rooms have a balcony, satellite television and a safe. The complimentary minibar, containing bottled water, soft drinks and beer is restocked every two days. Private bathrooms have a tub, handheld shower and hair dryer.
Expert Tip. For a glimpse into the history of Bulgaria, take an excursion to the Aladja Monastery. In the 4th or 5th century, monks began carving cells high up in the limestone cliff face where they aspired to the aesthetic principles of silence and solitude. A few of the colourful frescos are still visible in the chapel.

From Varna Airport (VAR):
Distance to Club Hotel Bolero is 35 kilometres, approximately 60 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The number 409 bus runs every 15 minutes to central Varna and Golden Sands. Tickets are available from the driver, and cost 0.60 1.80 BGN (0.30 0.90 EUR). Taxis are available in front of International Arrivals at Terminal 4. Taxis cost 6 16 BGN (3 8 EUR) to the city centre, and the journey time is about 15 minutes. Taxis to Golden Sands are approximately 50 BGN (25 EUR). Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Central Varna is best explored on foot, and the city is served by a network of trolleybuses and buses. Regular buses run between Varna's bus station and the coastal resorts of the Black Sea. Trains and buses link Varna with destinations throughout Bulgaria. A car is recommended for seeing more of the Bulgarian countryside.
